My God Cares for Me

For my life and health
I have no anxiety;
My God cares for me.

By worrying, could
I add a foot to my height?
My God cares for me.

Am I not loved more
Than the lilies and sparrows?
My God cares for me.

Will He not provide
Everything that I need?
My God cares for me.

Food, clothing, shelter . . .
I shall want for nothing since
My God cares for me.

When tomorrow comes,
I will not be afraid since

My faith is small, but
Still I trust Abba Father—
God who cares for me.
