In our second issue, our writers explored the first element, Wind, through "Flurry" which we publish this Friday, October 18. For our third element, we are focusing on fire. In our third theme for this semester, which will be published on November 8th, we take to the mines deep in the earth through "Forge."
Forge: make or shape a metal object by heating it in a fire or furnace and beating or hammering it
While fire and blacksmithing may be the image that comes to mind when we hear "Forge," our writers are working on their own twist for this issue. What are the fires in our lives that purify us and make us stronger? What relationships do we forge throughout our lives that last a life time?
