King Solomon writes in Ecclesiastes 3, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” As our semester is beginning to ramp up and our schedules are getting crazies, we here at Inkwell Literary Magazine are embracing this current time of hecticness in our first issue of the semester, Chaos.
Chaos: complete confusion and disorder; a state in which behavior and events are not controlled by anything.
We know that God is a God of order, but because His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts, we know that often we can only see chaos where He sees His perfect plan. So, like John Milton, our writers have sung of chaos and eternal night in this issue. We hope you enjoy their take on this theme. We are proud to feature several new staff writers this semester, as well as a submission from a BJU and Inkwell alumna, Julia Pridgeon.
