O God of earth and sea and sky,
You stay the same all of the time;
O Lord upon a timeless throne,
You reign supreme; You reign alone:
Help me in these shifting times!
Master of the earth and sun,
You guide the paths that they must run;
Father Who gave for me His Son,
You have called me to be Your own:
Help me to trust You now!
Jesus Who died upon a tree,
With Your blood You purchased me;
Friend Who’s always by my side,
You hold my hand and stay close by:
Help me to rest in You now!
I Am, You are forever there,
Though earth and sky should disappear;
And if, in time, some things should change,
You are eternal and the same:
