Hello, Inkwell readers! We’re happy to present you with Vivian Waite’s poem “Dragon Puppies” as a sneak peek into our next upcoming issue, “Creature.”

Our world is full of fantastically designed creatures, from weird creepy crawlers to giant deadly and playful cats, to plants that breathe underwater—almost anything you can imagine. Sometimes, however, our creativity takes flight and we image fanciful, unheard of animals. Vivian’s poem pulls from the playful, child-like creativity gifted us by our Creator to look at the possibilities of a different type of creature.

Join us on a brief imaginative journey as you enjoy Vivian’s poem, and come back on March 21st for our full issue, “Creature.”
