Hello again, Inkwell readers! In our first issue, we looked at earth and the deserts we trek through in life. Now, we move to the skies on the wings of the wind. While we could have focused on the damaging power of the wind, this issue turns to the small things that blow in. We are proud to present our second issue of the semester, “Flurry.”
Flurry: a small swirling mass of something, especially snow or leaves, moved by sudden gusts of wind.
The wind is unpredictable. It blows north, south, east, and west. It's strong, weak, hot, cold, and changes direction instantaneously. You may be experiencing new freedoms– spreading your wings for the first time. You may be that ship lost at sea– hoping for the wind to blow you in the right direction. Your emotions may be changing like the wind– slamming you against invisible walls in your mind. Where ever you are and where ever you are going, we hope these pieces speak to you.
