Greetings from the Inkwell Literary Magazine staff to our dedicated readers. We at Bob Jones University are coming down the home stretch of our spring semester. We have been so blessed to finish this school year in-person after the craziness of our first semester as a magazine. God has been truly good to us as we have produced volume II, and we can't wait to see what He has in store for us for next year!
But we still have one more special issue to release before volume II is complete, which will include the release of the winning submissions of the Division of English Language and Literature creative writing competition here at BJU. For our regular submitters, we are pleased to present our final theme for the semester, "Wistfulness."
Wistfulness: yearning or desire tinged with melancholy; contemplative sadness.
