Volume VI, Issue 4: Ripple

Hello again, Inkwell readers! We have come to the last issue of the semester where we present the last element: water. Our writers have worked diligently to bring you their interpretation of the waves through "Ripple."

Ripple: a small wave or series of waves on the surface of water, especially as caused by an object dropping into it or a slight breeze

Ripples not only describe the actions of the water but can also describe actions or events that spiral out of control. Many, if not all, of us have been in a situation where everything leaps out of our grasp, and we have to trust that everything will turn out in the end. Like ripples in a pond or puddle, one meaningless word can grow bigger and bigger until there's nothing you can do to stop the effects of that word. Even through these trying circumstances, we know that the Lord is in control, watching over each ripple as they grow and gradually dissipate.

We hope you enjoy “Ripple.” A PDF copy available here.
