Volume VI, Issue 1: Drought

Hello again, Inkwell readers! The element of Earth has so many lessons to teach and sceneries to be admired. Pause to take in God's creation that surrounds you every day. Our writers have worked tirelessly to communicate what this theme means to them. We are proud to present our first issue of the semester, “Drought.”

Drought: a prolonged period of time of abnormally low rainfall; a prolonged absence of a certain thing; thirst.

You may not be in a physical desert with a drought, but we all go through our spiritual deserts. We trek through deserts where we fail to see the blessings that surround us. We long for the times we were happy, had our loved ones around us, and reaped the benefits of our labors. We wait for the rains to fall and bring back the love and forgiveness that has died in our lives. Where ever you are, we hope that each of these pieces speak to you.

We hope you enjoy “Drought.” A PDF copy is available here.
